Born in the small town of Bracebridge in Ontario, Canada, Isla-Maria grew up in a household that encouraged creativity, honing her craft since she was only three years old and appearing in countless productions ranging from musical theatre to competitive dance. She is a lover of R&B, pop, rock, hip-hop, and everything in between.

Despite her young age, Isla-Maria has already cultivated a distinctive style uniquely her own. Her innate songwriting abilities contribute significantly to her identity as an independent artist, empowering her penchant for pushing boundaries, she fearlessly explores various genres and embraces new forms of expression. Most recently, Isla-Maria had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with several producers from Warner Music Canada and Marty Martino of Down with Webster. She also performed in Los Angeles at the iconic Hotel Ziggy on Sunset Boulevard and the Bourbon Room on Hollywood Boulevard in October 2024. In March 2025, Isla-Maria will showcase her widely recognized song, Attention Seeking, at the Youth Musician Songwriters Showcase at Massey Hall in Toronto.

In March 2024, Isla-Maria's self-penned song Attention Seeking soared to the #1 position on the aBreak58 Playlist, earning her international recognition and accolades. This milestone was widely covered by media outlets, further solidifying her growing impact in the music industry.

Currently, her song Small Talk sits at #4 on the aBreak58 Playlist, with high hopes that it will climb to the #1 spot. Small Talk has also been featured on Apple Music's New in Pop Playlist, highlighting Isla-Maria's talent to a broader audience. With over 10 original songs released on major streaming platforms and four more ready to drop, Isla-Maria is eagerly preparing for the release of her first EP in 2025.

In the summer of 2022 and at the age of only 14, Isla-Maria embarked on the Boys of Summer Tour, gracing stages in major cities across the USA. She has also showcased her talent at prestigious events such as Canadian Music Week in Toronto and the Shake the Lake Music Festival in Bala, Ontario. In February 2024, her exceptional talent was recognized as she clinched 1st place at the Huntsville’s Got Talent showcase. Additionally, Isla-Maria captivated audiences with her own concert, delivering an unforgettable performance to an intimate crowd of 80.
